California Made Denim and Shirts
Possibly no other place represents the relaxed California spirit better than Santa Monica, with its expansive beaches, gorgeous sunsets, and recreational activity options, so it was the perfect inspiration for our latest fall collection featuring denim pants and woven shirts.
California has been a leader in denim ever since Levi Strauss & Co. used rivets to reinforce pockets of denim overalls and pants in the 19th century. That long history has led to a mature manufacturing community with expertise in quality focused premium denim pant construction and washing. We are fortunate to work with a veteran denim sewing factory with over 20 years of experience sewing pants for the biggest premium denim brands in the world. We’re making sure our denim is made from the finest machinery and stitching options so you have clothing that will last.
This capsule collection builds upon our existing wardrobe and gives more options to dress up. Black pants continue to be a staple in our wardrobe and we’re happy to offer distressed elements and wax coatings to expand your styling options. We created 3 styles in skinny fit, with one featuring a soft jet black wash in longer 32” inseam with rips in the knees and raw hems, a second featuring a pigment wash that exhibits faded color variation, and a third with black wax coating and distressing at the knees. These jeans pair well with any of our products and will provide a clean look, that is perfect for day or evening.
We found fine Italian, Japanese, and Turkish fabrics for our Hi-Lo Woven Shirts w/ MA1 pocket to elevate the look with a long shirt that doubles as a light jacket. Designed to be worn open, the shirts have elongated lengths and split high-low hems. There is a military inspired MA1 pocket on the left arm with a YKK zippered stash pouch and pen pockets. We created 6 styles, with 3 in plaid, and 3 in solid colors: black, dark olive, and maroon. Dress the look up or down with your favorite shoes and go out looking perfect for Fall.
This is the latest capsule in our journey to create timeless style. Fashions fade, but style is eternal and Entity will always strive to provide you with clean and casual wardrobe staples that help you be your own.
Warm fall days in LA
Today, we decided to explore the West Hollywood area of our hometown Los Angeles with our two friends from Chicago. As the winter season approaches the sun stood it’s ground proudly providing us a beautiful, warm, Californian day that Blake Banks and Jewels are certainly not used to.
ENTITY is now available at Kitson!
Kitson has always been a fun store for us to go in and explore. Whether it’s a small toy, a quirky clock, or new clothes; Kitson always has something fun to discover. It makes us proud to announce that ENTITY is now available at the West Hollywood Kitson location off Melrose.
Exploring The Broad in Downtown Los Angeles
Everybody has been going crazy over the brand new museum in downtown LA, The Broad. Curated by philanthropist Eli Broad and his wife Edythe Broad, the showcase contains the biggest names in modern and contemporary art. For all of those that aren’t familiar with high-culture, you can essentially look at the following pieces as “hipster art.” The first piece we will show off is Takashi Murakami’s “Dob In The Strange Forest (Blue Dob)” which is constructed from fiber-reinforced plastic, resin, fiberglass, acrylic and iron. How much is something like this worth? Try $2,770,500, yea you better start saving!
